2012/09/27 NEW!!

Introduction

The event has two parts, one is 「2012 APIH Annual Meeting」on day 1 and 「2012 Internet Content Forum」on day 2.  The event starts from November 29 to December 1.  TICRF is very honored to host this event and we would try our best to receive all our distinguished guests from Asia Pacific areas.

2012 APIH Annual Meeting
APIH alliance has an annual meeting hosted by member countries in turn since 2005.  Asia Pacific Internet Hotline (APIH) focuses on International cooperation among Korea, Japan and Taiwan.  Recent years, this family has more friends from Australia, Malaysia and Singapore as observers in this meeting.  TICRF, on behalf of NGOs and NPOs in Taiwan, is very pleased to host the meeting this year. Taiwan Internet Content Rating Promotion Foundation (abbr. as TICRF) will organize the whole package of meeting process.

APIH annual meeting will be arranged on day 1 of the three-day schedule from November 29 to December 1.  Day 1 starts from 14:00 to 18:00 afternoon.  All our APIH country members will be coming from Korea, Japan, and local Taiwan.  The observers from Australia, Malaysia and Singapore are also invited.  They have been making a great contributing to APIH these years.  We believe this time we all can move forward to implement our cooperation on Data Base exchange, and IP extradition.  Upon the agreement with a verdict, we will propose MOU after the meeting.

2012 Internet Content Forumin Taipei

Continue the APIH meeting on Day1, we preside the "2012 Internet Content Forum" on Day 2.  We will discuss the current problem and influence of inappropriate internet content, building up a national data base, Asia internet cooperation, multi-bilateral legal assistance, and so on.  There are not only the adult VIPs from Asia Pacific countries, but also the young.  It is an opportunity to invite young people to come.  We need sometimes to listen to young people.  They also need the platform to express their viewpoints on internet content.  Should they have had their different opinions against the established research, we would have a cross-the-board dialogue in panel discussion.  The 21th century is a critical moment for our young generation, the juvenile are not only the object we make efforts on.  They are actually the leading role in the Internet world this century even the next centuries.  The heritage from last century to this century could be sustainable.   The forum could meet the needs through cross-generation dialogue.  Therefore, each country follows the schedule to try out qualified young people to participate in the meeting.

At the same time, TICRF diversifies this meeting an Internet family.  We respect the internet aboriginal young people.  The adults are defined as Internet Immigrant because the older is not better in internet world.  That which drives this meeting to a positive result is the main purpose we care about.

We have mutual understanding and tacit to reach an agreement on how to use internet appropriately.  Even more, we can create an atmosphere to deal a commitment between parents and children.   So the agenda in the afternoon on Day 2 will be Manners on line which includes the time control, the language and the social media.
